Is there a NTC/NMC is Reads deal?

Great job getting Read locked up for 4 yrs. Stolarz really does seem to be the future for the Flyers. When do you think he will be ready to play for the Flyers? What about Heeter?

As much as I wouldn't want to trade him, you never know what opportunity presents itself that would make it worth while to have the option.

A lot of haters on the deal for Read on TSN. I think $3.625M for a guy who can play anywhere in the top 9 is a great deal.

I have a fear that the Flyers will sign Hank off the market for $7.5 for 7 years, and then Hank will become an average goalie due to our defensive system

If you think Lundqvist would be an average goalie with the Flyers defensive system, you must have high hopes for Mason, and Emery.

My hopes for them are directly tied onto what Laviolette does with the defensive system this year. If he lets the poor team defense continue, I don't think Mason or Emery will do very well. If he puts time and dedication into the keeping the team defense that we saw at the end of last year, the one that good teams need to have in order to win in today's league, then I think they'll do great.
