I wonder if the Avs will be leaving with Liles on their way out of Hogg Town. I hope Bernier stands on his head, would love to see him play more than one in a row. He looked very very good against the Sens.

I have a feeling there will be more Leaf fans posting in this thread than Avs fans...

Same team yes. Same line no. Landeskog plays with Stastny and Tanguay at the moment while Duchene is with O'Reilly and Downie. They could very well see some power play time or play along side each other somewhere down the road though and that could be interesting but I like O' Reilly with Duchene.

Should be a tough road swing, good teams, hopefully they can perform well.

Wishful thinking, the Avs have enough 3-4 guys, they need a #1 defensemen . If they were going to get Liles they would have picked him up when he was on waivers.

110% agreed. It was a good hit, Josi got caught with his head down.

Should be one heck of a game. Both teams have their offense working early in the season and the goalies haven't been bad either. No comment on the Leafs blueline though .

The toronto game is going to be a goal scoring Fest! I predict a who scores the last goal affair with the avs on top 6-5. Keep up the good work Rick I hope u can be a guest on my podcast.

People are laughing at the Leafs blueline and not ours? That doesn't seem right...

To be fair our defense has been better than what people expected. Benoit and sarich looks solid and Barrie looks much more composed than last year

Duchene9 I agree with benoit and Sarich but Barrie has been horrible. He has made dumb decisions in his own end that lead to great scoring chances for the opposition. Varly has bailed him out on a number of occasions. If he doesn't shape up soon he will be riding the bus with the monsters With Wilson getting healthy soon.

I can really only think of one mistake he's made but I don't think we can take him out because other than Benoit he's our only puck moving defenseman. Even though guenin as looked good i think he will be the scratch for tomorrow because I'm pretty sure Wilson is playingn

Wilson won't be playing but when he's ready I got my money on Barrie getting the seat unless he plays inspired these next couple of games

Barrie has been coughing the puck up consistently, especially a few times in our own end causing a scoring chance, worse was against the ducks.

Has not have the best of passes while in the offensive end as well, just not looking sharp for a 3-4 dman right now.

Barrie almost looks like he is too confident with the puck. He keeps trying to do too much with it which is leading to turnovers. If he simplifies his game he will be fine. I think his play without the puck has looked much better than last year.
