Ever thought the fourth line is doing their job? We finally have functional toughness and u don't likeit? Makes no sence not to keep them ttogether.
Also yak sitting maybe because there is a trade in the works? I can only hope |

It's going to be Gardiner, Reimer, Liles for Yak and Klefbom....book it. |

OK, it's quite clear to me now: "Ryan Garner" is just a pseudonym for Richard Cloutier.
Only Clouts could come up with a gem like this one. |

I thought this when he was first sat the other night but I think the trade would have happened by now. Eakins is playing hardball with the former 1st overall pick and trying to send a message to the rest of the players that you have to buy into his system in order to get the ice time. First it was Smyth now its Yak. So whether you are a vet or a rookie, you must play Eakins way. |

well... NYR, who have the best goalie in the world, lost 3 consecutive games: 9-2, 6-1 and 5-3.
team defence is just as important. Great example today, the "monster" wins vs Rask, however upon further review the Wings had their best defensive effort, with stick in the lanes, defensive posture and also support. Not to mention, team wise they had a great 5 on 3 kill against the Bs that was 1m 30s long.
I think Edmonton's issues is that they can outscore problems at times, but defensive structure is plaguing them just as much... from what I saw anyways. |

Oh ok so where are trading Buffalo Larsson straight up for Yaks |

Not many of your comments make sense.
Why sit Smyth? Because he was playing poorly. Then he came back and got some goals, so it seemed to do soemthing good.
Why sit Yak instead of Eberle? Because Eberle was playing better than Yak. Yakupov isn't playing well, everyone sees that. He has had a bit of time with the more talented players and still hasnt produced. Boyd Gordon seems to be doing just fine and he's a much less talented player.
Blaming the coaching staff already? How many seasons are we going to do this? You know what doesnt help a team develop, replacing the coach every year and making them learn new systems.

LMFAO you are WAY overrating Yak in this. I doubt NYR would do Yak of McD straight up. |

I don't know what that last "a" is but we are feeling pretty desperate right now. I think Lou needs to make a call to Gillis again since it worked out so well last time |

Yaks and a second, to Montreal for Tinordi and they're first. Yaks can team up with Galchenyuk again, like they did in junior. The Habs get another Smurf with offense and the Oilers get bigger, meaner and tougher on the back end. |
