Garbutt and Roussel are hacks. They took cheap shots all night long and it was only because Anaheim didn't want to take the penalties that they didn't get their asses kicked. The zebras didn't help matters by not calling the cross checks to the back of the neck.

I posted this in the previous blog but it was weird watching a Lindy Ruff team goon it up like that. There are a lot of skill players on the team too, it obviously takes time to learn a new system.

Hope they toss the book at Garbutt. And I hate how overused the word "unanswered" is in hockey journalism and broadcasting. The Stars three first period goals were not unanswered. They were consecutive but not unanswered. The Ducks "answered" them less than two minutes into the second period. The Ducks final five goals WERE unanswered.

Garbutt is going to get a five-gamer, I suspect.

Re: "unanswered", in the context of the first period, the Stars three goals were unanswered. They took a 3-1 lead to the locker room. The Ducks most certainly answered on the scoreboard (and then some) in periods two and three. Utter domination, in fact.
