The Leafs lack of center depth right now will hurt them in this game. The Bruins can exploit that with strong center play from Krejci and Bergeron. The 3rd period against Florida will carry over to tonight and Rask will continue his fantastic play.

I'd like to disagree, but you are right. Its too bad we don't have a full lineup. Love this rivalry and respect Boston.

Agreed, it sucks that the Leafs are coming in with key injuries. The playoff series last year went a long way in renewing a rivalry with Toronto. In previous years the Bruins have handled the Leafs, but this year and future years, it will be different.

Still going to be a war. 2 of the most physical teams. That's what makes these games beauties

I hope you are right, the key will be if Marchand can get going after scoring Thursday. The 2nd line needs to find their game fast because all the offense is coming from the 1st line, Smith (8 assists) and Krug.

I've found myself saying that a lot of games this season. It has been a struggle for him thus far, but hopefully the other night was the spark he needed.

Thanks dude, and I really wish Bolland was in tonight, too. Would have loved to see what he brings to the table in a game like this, which is really why they brought him in. Hard-nosed center that has the potential to get under guys like Chara and Krejci's skin/head.

Dougie Hamilton is having an outstanding game tonight

You could make an argument that he has been one of the more consistent and effective defenseman this season. Looks poised on the ice and makes the smart play. Both him and Krug have been a breath of fresh air.

Oh, and Reilly Smith has been better than advertised. 11 points already, and really brings another dimension to the 2nd PP unit.

Agree on Hamilton 100 percent. Wasn't overly impressed, but since being the odd man out for a game or two, he's brought a calming presence to the blue-line. Still has his moments, yeah, but that's life as a second-year NHLer logging top-four minutes. Love his increasingly strong poise with the puck, and his decision-making has improved vastly.

Joe Morrow doesn't look too bad in Providence either. Talent in Providence has increased dramatically.

Down a D-man, a surge in the second and they still get the win. Best game of the season so far.

Yup

I could be wrong but I think Dougie led the team in ice time. Everyone stepped up on the back end. Good team win.

Big game against the Lightning on Monday.
