J.Staal makes it 1-0 ,and Ward and the team came out ready to play after a long week of hearing the honey-do list Except Eric who is taking it on himself to do his LaRose best at taking dumb penalty's with 2 in the period ,and the Caps as of 1 period look to be making a better defensive effort than there past 2 vs the Canes.
The taking care of Ovi seems to be working so far ,but keeping Mike Green from getting a goal this game should be important as he has scored in the last 2 ,and seems to get on the stat sheet vs the Canes regularly.
The decision to let Lindholm play in the JR championship is mixed for me as another Edler like cheap shot would be a disaster for Lindholm who has been banged up this year anyway ,and If I'm JR I probably say no for this reason ,but he's going so hope for the best he stay's healthy ,and doesn't score vs team USA.
The trade freeze has the roster boiling over ,and I still don't like sitting Murphy for Gleason even though he needs to play for trade purposes ,and glad to see Bellemore back maybe he can bring a PP goal back for Christmas as Canes PP stinks period ,and has to improve. |
