Not sure how this help the leafs in anyway, seeing how goaltending is not the problem, I lean more towards on ice leadership and and a lack of physical play (not fighting). Ward is underperforming and has a $6.3m cap hit and Peter's & Dobby make $1.37 combined and have a lower GPG/SV% and, that combined with the Canes needing top 6/9 forwards make it more than a possibility and, sooner than later before the deadline.
