Why do I have the feeling that Carter and Richards will break out of their scoring slumps today?

Because 1) it just seems so perfectly set up for that to happen, with LA in such an offensively funk as a team and due to break out at some point; 2) the Flyers' team D remains suspect, and 3) the Flyers have already been scored on this year by much lesser ex-Flyers (Carcillo, Sestito and Patrick Maroon among them).
Not saying it will happen. Just saying that you are not the only one with that feeling that it very well could happen. |

I could be wrong, but is this the first time they've faced Jeff Carter since he was traded? I can't find any split stats for him facing PHI. If so, I'd hold my glove extra high if I were Mase. |

Interesting comment from Richards, in Carchidi's Inqy article, about it only being two and a half years since he and Carter were traded and only four Flyers (5 if you include healthy-scratch Messaros) remain from that team. |

Yeah, as assuring as Dan Winnick getting his 2nd goal since October the other night against us, they will break out I'm sure.
If they don't play man to man tight defense today I don't feel like they will get a point on this trip. |
