He wont. He's as good as gone.
Why would anyone want Radulov? D-bag extraordinaire.

Brodeur in Colorado makes sense, just for the fans to see Roy give him the hook.

Roy dealt with primadonna russians in the Q. He'd be just what the doctor ordered for Radulov. Maybe Kovalchuk will end up there as well. |

I cant see anyone wanting Marty, TBH. His name far outweighs his play right now. He just does not have his top stuff anymore. |

A cat walks into a bar.
The cat turns to the bartender and says "Hello."
Everyone in the bar freaks because it's a talking cat and somebody kills it with a chair. |

is brodeur that much of an upgrade over giguere?
would giggy agree to a trade to NJ? or would he agree to a trade to minny or wash in a separate deal? I don't see roy or joe casting giggy aside for brodeur |

I think Radulov playing for Roy in Colorado would be a spectacular move.
Radulov was clearly Russia's best player at Sochi. He played with heart.
He came to Canada as a junior. He wanted to go back home and play in his own country. He has got that out of his system. Put him with Duchenes or McKinnon and he might be a 50 goal scorer.
The Avs are building a super team. Just a top Dman away from being the best team in the NHL. |

There has been a lot of nervousness about the reliability of Russian players over the last few years. Part of it had to do with Sochi and the Russians being drawn to wanting to play in their own country.
I think all the Russian hype and attraction got left behind in Sochi in the 5-0 loss to the Finns. Watch for a significant move of top Russian players wanting back or new stars wanting into the best hockey league in the world. |

Alex Radulov signed a 4 year deal with the KHL in the summer of 2012
how can Colorado grab him after only 2 years? - homiedclown
Just like it was impossible for Kovalchuck to get out of his life time deal with New Jersey.

That's a bit optimistic. Being the best player on international ice does not translate to being a dominant NHL player. The only players that have lived up to the label of the best player not in the NHL, who played overseas, were guys back in the day like Makarov, Larionov, Fetisov, etc.. Forsberg had that label too and lived up to it. Since then others sadly haven't. Brunnstrom did get a hatty in his first NHL game and the Monster had a few good NHL games though so there's that. |
