I think Halak could also still be flipped and then there's the whole Brodeur situation. I would rank both of them ahead of Bryz. I dig the title, though. |

I know he's a little nicked up, but what would it take to get curt glencross back? |

Broissoit and Horak - ystoil
keepin brossoit. the best goalie prospect we have in the system (which isn't sayin a lot as he got lit in Oklahoma and sent down to echl. but nonetheless, I still have high hopes. hes playing better now too)
and weird. I literally have no idea what glenx would cost.

I was moreso making a joke haha. But to be honest, I'm not sold on Broissoit until I see him do well in the AHL. I'm glad to see him excel in the ECHL but I'm not overly excited about it.
I think that's close in terms of value but I wouldn't make the trade. Glencross is a bit banged up. I would hope we would target another centreman with Gagner as the trade chip. |

Hordak was the villian in the She-ra cartoons.
Is there even a market for Bryz? Even for a 6th round pick? |

injuries are certainly a risk with glenx. but best case, he'd help far more than gagner has.
big, physical, great skater to compliment hall, ebs etc. and can play up and down the lineup. and has some offensive capability too.
of course there are a few better options. but I don think gags value is near as high as many of us hope, and if we were able to turn him into glenx, id pull the trigger in a second |

I've read rumours that he could be moved. That's sounds about right in terms of value. |

id imagine a small one.
id rather keep him and have some options to resign this summer depending on where we go with our goaltending situation, rather than an inconsequential low pick though |

Bryz would probably get a similar return as Reimer |

nope.
not a fan of glenx? I am. he's such an underrated player I think. could do way more for this forward group than gagner has imo |

As a Flames fan, I have no idea what Glencross would cost, either. I look at the OIlers lineup and really don't see any match in his range that the Flames would want. There's a lot above his range and a lot below. I don't see him traded this deadline. Maybe at the draft. |

yeah. tough to say with him
I though gagner as maybe the flames want some offence at 2c, while insulating Monahan abit and putting stajan at 3c.
while we add some size, physicality and utility
I doubt hes traded. just responding to his name mentioned |

I like the thought and am not as down on Gagner as some are, though I think he'd be no more than a placeholder so we may as well just hang onto Glencross for that. He also has that Burke truculence whereas Gagner... not so much. |

One side of me wants MacT to trade a bunch of players so we can see what we've got in a bunch of our prospects. Another side of me hates the idea of moving any of the few legit NHLers we've got. But imagine if some of our forwards prospects could pull a Marincin:
Hall- RNH- Yak
Perron- Arco- Eberle
Horak- Lander- Pitlick
Hendricks- Gordon- Jones
In case you've missed it, that 3rd line has been tearing up the AHL since January and I'd like to see what they can do together up here in the show. All three of them bring different skillsets along with solid two-way games so they could be feasable as a bottom-6 line. |
