Awesome to see the guys playing so well against top teams. It really gets the enthusiasm going.

the boys did show some moxie last night...solid win

Yeah that was a great game. I said after the first that I would not be disappointed if they lost as long as the effort stayed where it was. Good to see them play with heart, skill, smarts and perseverance.

I am not saying I expect them to go far in the playoffs. I do expect whatever team they play to have a hell of a time getting rid of them.

That is the Giroux I expected at the beginning of the year. Dude looked like one of the best in the league last night and for the last month or two.

IMO that was the best game they have played all year. Better team than the Pens, they let in two early goals, looked flat to start and third game in four days, but no they regrouped and won it. This is the Flyers team I want to see every game. Mac has been a great pickup and having a 4th line that can play helps.

Timonen has a hard time restraining Hossa. The guy's a monster.

Love how Couturier stared him down after he shoved him to the ice. His confidence has to be at an all time high. To think he's this good defensively at such a young age is unreal. If he becomes a consistent 50+ point scorer, watch out.

he set Read up with passes right to the crease, after skating the puck in and kind of delaying in the corner with it a few times, and he has looked much stronger along the boards this year

I like the progress this year of both him and BSchenn, although B had a rough moment on the first CHI goal last night

I love the defiant stance Couts strikes there. Staring down captain serious like a boss.

Luke Schenn is playing better of late, and with more consistency. He's still getting 6th defenseman minutes. Would like to see him get increased playing time.

Agreed. Offense will come. He's played with some pretty crummy wingers his first two years. I really like him w Read.
