I'm 50/50 confident. We just need to go in there and play our game.

One thing that has bothered me about Berube is his CONSTANT willingness to play Steve Downie out there, on the PP, near the end of the game. It kills me. Also, as much as I love Raffl, I don't think he should be centering the team's second line...

He has not fully gained control of the position yet, and playing against the other team's second line can expose him now and again. I say stick him on the 3rd line with Couts and Downie and let Matt Read slip up and play with Simmer and Schenn.

why can't the Flyers just come out and tell you where to go to see a Robin in the first place?

I agree with what you state here. The only thing I'll state is that the reason why Berube wants Raffl at center on the 2nd line. Is because he wants his top centers to pursue, and to be hard on the puck in all 3 zones. Raffl with his skating ability, and his relentlessness on the puck, has that ability that Berube is looking for. That's why Lecavalier isn't centering the 2nd line. He isn't that kind of player.

I really wish we had a substitute for Downie. In the playoffs, every goal matters. Is Downie more of an asset than a liability? I'm not so sure. I just don't know what other option we have. If we sit him, do we have a better person to take his place? McGinn? Downie's not a seasoned veteran, but he's been in the league long enough now to know what constitutes smart, responsible hockey and what doesn't. The fact that he still can't understand -- or be counted to act upon -- the difference really troubles me because every opponent we're about to face in the playoffs is more than capable of capitalizing on stupid mistakes. And like I said, every goal matters.
