alright boys don't start looking ahead to a Hawks match up, take care of business for Game 6 first. Its going to be a war just to potentially meet up for another war with the Hawks...talk about a statement game by them

I can only imagine if the Wild had been screwed over as hard as the Avs have been this series, the way their fans would complain. Seeing their outrage over a marginal offside decision I shudder to think how they would handle Cooke kneecapping a defensemen, Brodin's puck over the glass, Neidereiter's slew foot. Seeing the headlines listing the Avs win as "controversial" sadly shows how effective Suter's constant griping is.

I wouldn't say any of that is worse than how the Wild got screwed over, nor is better. Just shows that both teams caught some breaks, that usually happens. Wild had two goals that resulted from a broken stick last night, so officiating isn't the only source of luck either. Tomorrow is going to be a tough game, hopefully the Avs put an end to their playoff road woes.

So....anyone else extremely happy to see the Blues knocked off? I had a lot of respect for Hitch but that 2 game span late in the season has me in reverse.

First he cries about the Avalanche beating them...then he storms out of the next press conference when Chicago beat them. That guy deserves to watch fromt he sidelines.

Can't wait for tonight, take care of business boys! Let's celebrate on their ice!
