I don't think the Isles' pick next year will be top five, I honestly think they will be better next season. But next year's draft is deep so we might get lucky.

Why does it seem to be impossible to get the simplest facts right?

In any event, to set the irresponsibly inaccurate record straight . . .
the Sabres do not have three second round picks in 2014, or in 2015. They sent the picks acquired for Regehr to LA in the McNabb/Fasching deal. So they have two, not three, picks coming in the second round in both '14 and '15.
But hey, why nitpick when it would have taken two seconds to get it right.

Not much spped, but sound Defensively. Will oook for teh big hit which gets him out of position at times. Not afraid to drop the gloves.

Myers was born in the U.S.

Correct me if i'm wrong , but I think Buffalo only has two second rounders in 2015, they traded LA's back to LA.

No but I watched him play all year.

he made a bad play in a meaningless tournament, bad turnover no doubt but not make or break for his career.

By that logic Cody Hodgson's 6 year deal is a steal because his goal scoring in that tournament means he's the next stamkos.
