the rangers blog made this a delightful evening. oh, the bitter, bitter tears of rage and anger and of feeling (frank)ed by the officials.

it's not over yet, but (frank) YOU, NEW YORK! I HOPE YOU GET SWEPT.

Thank god this isn't happening to the Flyers - it's unreal (and wonderful)

yep. the best part about not being in it, is that it really doesn't matter what happens (kind of), and you can just enjoy the hockey for what it is. in this particular case, i'm enjoying the suffering of that piece of poop fan base and franchise. we can only hope that the kings close this out.

this is the first time in scf history that a team has a 2-0 lead and hasn't lead for a single second. also, since the start of the best of 7 format for the final, game 2 winners go on to win the cup about 75% of the time. so they have that going for them....which is nice.

Indeed - Because until the kings win, the Rags could always find themselves with that historical comeback story

Whatever officiating irony there is, the Ranjerks got away with plenty of cheap shots in both games, including a hit about 4 seconds after the play ended behind their net. Final or not you have to call those.

But I am very happy to see the Ranjerks down screwed or not. Especially with the gold diggers like Brad Richards and Marty St Louis. I am still po'd about the 2004 semis and the murder the bolts got away with then and the fix in the finals when the refs screwed the flames in game 6.

Sometimes your team has to be good enough to beat the refs and the other team to win the cup.

Agree with you on the NY crowd/team. The only issues I ever had with Bill Barber is the same I have now with Cindy Crosby. He was a diver. Great goal scorer though

They clutched, grabbed, and dove their way into the finals and they are going to female dog about reffing? I don't see one complaint about the Nash call....not one on the lunqvuist call?nash ran into Williams and sold it hard...

If the Rangers can't hold serve at MSG, this series is over in 5.

I immediately tuned into the Rags post-game as soon as the game was over to see the interviews. Lundqvist was crying about the non goaltender interference call. And AV was more bitter than that Hillbilly who lost the Belmont yesterday.

Beautiful!

I think he was more upset because they failed to block every other shot for him.

I'm hating them as much as the mid 90's Devils, when it was 1-0 you could see them back off the opposing blue line, clogging the middle.
And I'm sick of the constant shot blocks, it's like Tortallini never left.
