Good blog Stew. Always wondered why some cities only sing the USA national anthem , while others, (Sabres included) also sing the Canadian anthem.. I'm glad we do both.

Great sentiment in this piece. When I've attended Canadian-based games with a visiting US-based team, I always appreciate seeing Americans and Canadians alike respecting and applauding both anthems. Both countries' anthems are beautiful pieces of music in my opinion and at an NHL game you will usually hear some fantastic renditions of both. Hockey brings American and Canadian neighbours together like nothing else.

Buffalo is supposedly the only team to do both for every game.
