Flyers spend money..it's awful and people cry for a new GM.
New GM comes in and starts to deploy his plan for the team, for various reasons they dont spend money.. It's awful.

They shouldn't even play this season, the Flyers should be eliminated from the playoffs today.

I wonder if Ott is picked up by someone this week? I mentioned before that Setoguchi would be worth a low risk one year deal ( similar to what Raymond got last year from Leafs)

Flyers still have some room to sign another player if the price is right. And look at it this way, the Flyers went after a free agent need early, when they acquired MacDonald.

If only they had money, they could have shored up the D by signing Orpik for 5 years at $5.25M per, or shored up their bottom 6 forwards by snagging Bolland at his cheap $5M per for 5 years. If only they could have been players on July 1st...if only.

You don't see any of our D prospects arriving on the roster for 3-5 years? I agree they may not be dominating, but I'd hope at least 1 of them can crack the roster in a year or 2.

Unfortunately Hextall starts of his tenure with a raw deal and his hands tied behin his back. The team although with a young promising core has been built with players that do not fit with one another to form a cohesive championship caliber team. The lack of ideal cap room as hampers any extra moves that need to be made. Within approx 2 years I believe Hextall should be able to have the flyers at or close to champion caliber status. Unfortunately it will take time and patience.

I hear Cheechoo is also available.

Is Zherdev taking some time off from beating his wife? If so, maybe we can sign him. Maybe we could have Heatley signed and he can pick Zherdev, Setoguchi, and Cheechoo up on the way over.

Yes, this team has holes.

Unfortunately, there are more holes than there are solutions in the FA market.

I want a plan from the organization and I want them to execute it. Not just buy players because they can.

Is Leino going to get invited to camp ya think?
