I see what you did there?
Good read otherwise, It'll be interesting to see if Gorges can have that Tallinder effect during Myers calder year (assuming you buy into the theory or not). Regardless, having a stay at home guy like Gorges should allow for more mobility from Myers without him overthinking/doing too much. |

Most of my posting is done on page 10 and a few others.... Sabres threads are a clusterfcuk.
But at least the blogs are really good. |

Edit: Been a while since this place has seen some real page 10 action |

Good blog as always
Loved the Gorges move. Was probably my favorite acquisition outside of Reinhart.
I honestly think that with the pair of him and Myers it will make Ehrhoff's departure less noticeable. We will actually have a pair that will play in all situations |

Putting a picture of Ehrhoff on a stick moving on a wire is better then having him here. |

Yea, especially the Ehrhoff of last year.
I don't see how people can criticize Murray for buying him out. Ehrhoff wanted to leave and who could blame him? |

So, Toronto had its day no doubt. Now, not so sure. It seems such a disjointed place, say nothing about the absurd price to live there. So, you like it, good for you! Me, not so much. Great place to visit for a couple days..then, got to go...kinda like Las Vegas. You couldn't get me to live there for all the tea in China.
Buffalo, it has seen better days .. But it is bouncing back nicely. We don't need nor want 6m people here...a nice commute to work versus the log-jam up there. We can go to Sabres and Bills games..sell our TO games to die hard Bay Leafs fans who can't see them in there home town, and there you go...it pays a significant portion of watching the other 38 games. Great standard of living versus scraping by...I'll take it. Now Montreal on the other hand |

I thought Goerges was Montreals #2 that most often paired with Subban? No?
I was very surprised Buffalo was so aggressive this offseason. I figured they would do one more year in full tank mode because of how good this draft is supposed to be. |

With the decreased odds for the bottoms teams to land #1 I think its the right move. I don't think the Sabres want to put us through what they did last year if they can control it. |

To each their own, but i've moved around a lot throughout my childhood but T.O is the only place i can call home
That's not to say Buffalo isn't great either

This is true however, I bet TM is still interested in a high draft pick, just not at the expense of another sideshow season. |

Worst case scenario is a sideshow season where we finish last and still don't get Mcdavid. Best case is we finish like 24th and get Mcdavid via lottery. |

This year if you finish last the worst thing you get is the 2nd pick. I hear than other kid is not bad. |

I think we scored like 29 or 37 less goals than the next worst team. I don't want to be that ever again. |
