I still think having a younger team at this tournament, regardless of where they were drafted, is a disadvantage. If they really want to win tournaments like this, they are better off sending older prospects with less upside. If their goal is to evaluate the higher upside prospects and challenge them, win or lose, then they are doing the right thing.

it's designed for 18-19 yr. olds...all teams are pretty much on the same level

Don't we have something like 6 guys that were either drafted this year or have later birthdays? It really doesn't matter but I'd rather have the young guys thrown in there and, like you said, eat some humble pie.
