First of all Toronto is a lot more than just the capital of the hockey world’s media market. Toronto probably has about 20 times more hockey fans than the self named "hockey town".

True that Detroit itself isn't Red Wing crazy. Its every other market that is comprised of a poop ton of Wings fanatics. Living in Nashville is like when I lived in Michigan, except more Detroit Red Wings paraphernalia.
