Let's get the Florida split - ob18
When the Panthers are the Quebec Nordiques it'll be a lot harder to get the Florida split. |

If VdV is staying up will Jones get returned to the Phantoms? |

Probably as soon as CC is officially activated, unless they waive Akeson.
Edit: I'd hate for them to send Akeson down, but it seems like Berube has no confidence in him whatsoever and will only dress him if he has to.

Over/Under for tonight..
More people in arena
Most posts on this forum during and after the game..
That has to be so frustrating for the true hockey fans there. |

And fyi, supposedly there is going to be a pretty good turn out tonight. The team has to win at home for fans to come. We had more in there on Thursday against Arizona than we did against the Sens the game before. The team is playing better so, naturally, fans will begin to trickle back in. I cannot stand how the arena looks, and I hate that I cannot be there for most games (I have an 11 month old son). I support this team and always have. South Florida fans want to win or they won't go.
It just boggles my brain that people are giving us so much trouble now when nothing was said about Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, NYI, Devils, Blues... when they were going through the same thing. Our new owner is not giving any more free tickets away. That is the SOLE reason you see how empty the arena is on game nights. The last few seasons, 40% of the fans in the arena were fluff; corporate sponsors who were given 100 free tickets. We aren't doing that anymore. But the bashing has to stop. I would never wish this on any other franchise. Ever. |

Good luck to the Panthers, I hope you can make a go of it.
That said, I hope the Flyers crush you tonight!

Good to see Vinny should be back tonight. Very disappointed to see Vandevelde will remain in the line up. I was seeing something really special with the fourth line of Rinaldo, Bellemare and Akeson. - SuperSchennBros
I would also, but Berube seems to resist playing Akeson whenever possible.

Very interested in knowing how Lecavalier is going to be used on the PP. I think I'd keep Brayden Schenn on that first unit. Get Couturier as the net presence, while Lecavalier works the right half wall and right point to create space for himself so he can let that shot go. |

I thought you said the Vandevelde bashing was getting old.
Maybe it was the Luke Schenn bashing that was getting old.
The 4th line with Bellemare and Akeson had some real skill, but VDV has two points in the last two games. So there is some hope Berube will play that line more then 6-7 minutes. |

That would mean taking either Voracek or Simmonds off the top unit, which isn't going to happen. |

Wait, what? I'm suggesting Lecavalier be on the second unit to make room for his shot like last season instead of replacing Schenn with Lecavalier, where we had Lecavalier at the start of the season. |

Oh, OK. My bad. I misread it. I thought you were suggesting putting 40 on the top unit as the guy on the right half-boards (Voracek's spot) and Schenn as the net front guy (Simmonds spot).

I said the Luke Schenn bashing is getting stale. It's constant. I don't see where there is confusion. |

Oh no, sir. Can't break up a good thing is what I'm trying to say. I think Brayden Schenn could have a big year on that top unit all season. |
