Maybe his problem is the commercial break before the shootout. During the penalty shots, he gets maybe 20-30 seconds before hand. During the shootout, he gets 2-3 minutes to lose game face.

Dreger is a (frank)ing tool and a terrible person to rely on, almost as much as Ek. And, no, not worth what they want. Not giving up Nyquist, Larkin, or Mantha for Myers.

Mrazek hasn't played well at all this year in the AHL while McCollum has been pretty good. Wouldn't make sense to reward someone playing poorly, yes I know Mrazek is far better goalie than McCollum but right now Mrazek needs all the minutes he can get to regain his confidence and play at the high level we saw from him last year. Gustavsson probably won't be back next year because the wings will want him to be their back/future number one so for now he needs every minute he can get and not to be called up to watch Jimbo Howard.

Yeah no doubt, I live in GR so I go to a lot of games/follow them. It's rather shocking they're this bad, their team should be really good. I think once Mantha comes back they'll turn it round and not to mention Jurco will prolly be sent back down as well.

hey when u lose Jurco,Nyquist,Sheahan, Tatar. lots of forward depth gone. Mantha should help. but it will get worse with Mrazek and probably Ouelette leaving next season. others too.

For sure losing all those guys gutted is pretty hard, but Miele and Porter both are stud who have filled some of that void. Ouellet is an absolute stud. He is the most NHL ready prospect we've got, he eats up a ton of minutes being our top defender. I talked to Chelios not too long ago about Ouellet and he agreed saying it won't be long till he gets called up perminently to the wings this season. As for Mrazek he will be gone after this season and that will hurt the Griffs the most. We haven't had a goalie with his skill come to our team, you might say Howard was our goalie for a while but he wasn't that good for us. I'm hoping Mantha can help solve some of our problems.

Mrazek being sent down and McCollum being up has nothing to do with how they are playing right now. Griffins are playing tonight and they want Mrazek to play that game. Tomorrow they will call Mrazek back up and send McCollum back down.
