BS to "he's too good for Juniors" line of crap.
When he has averaged 2 goals per night and 2 assists per night, then he is too good.
He needs to be a bit more selfish and go the net himself, often, in fact very frequently and jam his own goals in.
That is the development he needed along with adding lots of muscle on his frame.
He'll be a real good one...but don't tell me he is too good for it there.

Too good for Juniors? Is he averaging 2 points per game? Is he the clear and definitive leader of this Junior Team? Can he take the team on his back?

He is a great junior player, no doubt, but he is not too good for juniors. He couldn't dominate and help the Whl beat the Russians in the subway series. Those are players he will face in the world junior tournament. He played calm as expected but when other linemates didn't score then he is the one that needs to put the puck in the net. When he does that he will be too good for juniors.

He is averaging 2.5 points per game since he was sent down. His team was something like 3-13 before he returned and they have not lost a game since.

So yes, yes, yes, and yes.

I'm not saying he is the 2nd coming or anything, but he is too good for Juniors. He should be in the AHL this year but that isn't an option.

How is he to good for juniors? He belongs there. Crosby to good for the NHL? No.

He's been sent down for a reason. To work on his physical game and gain muscle which both aren't good enough for NHL or AHL either. So the dub is the best place for him.
