Didn't really like Horvat's game last night, he didn't look confident, looked like he was just trying not to make a mistake. Kids got the talent to play in a bottom six role, at this point I'd like to see him returned to junior to play if they're gonna sit him.

But yeah, I agree. I didn't watch the game but talking to a couple of people who did watch it and they said the same thing. He's afraid to be aggressive and get caught caught out of position or give up an odd man rush to the other team so he's playing high in the middle of the ice in the offensive zone.

He needs to go back to junior and come back more confident and agressive next year.

I have a bad feeling about this game tonight. Lack is gonna have to steal this one IMO.

Brilliant deduction Sherlock! Did he come up with that all on his own? These teams play each other 7 times this season. Rival? That’s BS, if they “dislike” each other it’s because they are sick of seeing each other.

Yeah, Edmonton doesn't even make my top 5 list. Canucks have bigger rivalries with all 3 Californian teams(and that's actually a more mutual hate). CHI has dies down a bit. STL I'd argue is a bigger rivalry as well, both teams have more of a hate for each other than EDM-VAN. EDM at best would be #5 on VAN's list, and even that's arguable. I think it's more hate from the EDM side, mainly due to Kassian.

Why not, he's just playing okay. Get him lots of ice time, and that would be a great experience for him.

The coaching staff need to put him in a position to success, by that I mean keep putting him in there like they've done with Sbisa, no matter how many mistakes you make we're gonna support you and work with you. That should be the mentality.

But they can't, they've got too many bodies, with Vey in the mix they have to poop or get off the pot when it comes to developing a 19 year old kid...junior or NHL...but he's gotta play!!

Ducks seem to play good in your guys building ...usually turns into a high scoring affair too ... After losing to the Nucks in Anaheim and the way they ended in cgy I would be surprised if they laid an egg tonight ...but the kesler hate will help the Nucks ...and the twins should be good for a few points ...5-4 game hopefully kesler is the goat

Sbisa was a (frank)ing skating disaster early on, but he actually started playing decently before he got injured. I think the coach having his back and still playing him quite a bit is what helped him. His hockey sense definitely isn't the best, but his physicality/size is something this team needs, especially in the West. I think he just tries to do too much and needs to have better reads on when to pinch in on the offensive zone and when to back off.

This is why I'm worried, plus they keep coming at you even if they're up by a goal or two so it can get ugly fast if the Canucks don't show up or just flat out get outplayed.

He will be effective for one team or the other tonight, hopefully his return displaces Weber. So long as Sbisa and Weber are not on the ice together at any given time it should be a good game.
