Flyers basically have to go 4-1-1 or better for the rest of the month to even have a shot at the playoffs. When the trade freeze ends in a week or so, Hextall may well be in sell mode

Totally serious. They are big enough, skate well enough and defend well enough to get there

If they make a sneaky little deal for a right-aged winger who can score and help relieve some of the burden those young centers face...they're good enough to really put a hurting on some teams making a run for eighth

The back-to-backs are not coming at good times

Huberdeau got off the weakest shot I've seen in that shootout. Very 'Meh'.

That flip pass over the back of the net that Upshall hit out of the air was sweet.

Imagine how much worse things would be if G wasn't a faceoff winning machine so far this season.

Hexy has to know this upcoming draft is his best shot at getting some real good players for this organization. In fact, it's in his best interest as a GM who wants a long tenure to crap the bed this season while getting as many picks and prospects as possible and rebuilding this team over the next couple seasons.

Tough division, tho. Have to figure BOS will turn it around... maybe one of TOR or MTL puck luck dries up and they have a major fall... FLA definitely has a strong back end and are plucky up front, tho.

i think thats stretching the limits of potentiality.

he managed to come very close to missing the net despite literally somehow finding himself behind the goalie in the crease.

10th consecutive SO loss. I am sure they are near the bottom of the rankings since it came into the league.
