Isn't it amazing what happens when you go to the net......with or without the puck?

Almost all, if not all these Erickssons goals have been with him driving to the net and then proceeding to pick up the trash.

Loui with a little confidence is an entirely different Loui. I think the dump and chase style has been killing him. He needs to carry the puck more.

I don't know if the solid play of 43 & 21 makes a trade easier or tougher. does anybody know if 17 is playing these days?

He let in some softies. Thats 2 goals for Marchand and 2 for Eriksson. Trade them on the 27th. Their value may never be higher.

Other than that pass to Loui in OT against Buffalo, Lucic has been invisible. It's too bad because the guy can take over a game when he wants to. I was never on board with trading him because of the 'heavy' game he brings, but these last few games have been ridiculous. On a brighter note, Bergeron had an excellent game and it seems when he does, the whole team elevates their game.

I hear you he wasn't very noticeable last night, however you cannot expect him to play 82 games like a Bull, but I do expect to see him Fired Up on Saturday

You may be on to something, Love Marchand when he's in that Verbeek mode.

Yup, hopefully the Prout one-punch gives him some motivation. Can't wait to see that rematch!!

I can't stand Jack Edwards.............he is such a dumbass!

I want to reach through the TV and slap the poop out of him........

The real story is how BAD this team looks.

Jack is something, I watch the games on mute on my 2nd tv.

Curious about how that was penalty on 63, and before that last Jacket goal, it sure looked like the puck hit the netting? no?

But yes they have not played well tonight.

A lot of questionable calls....the refs have not been good tonight.

But the gameplay is awful on the Bs part.

The only Bs who showed up tonight are Bergy and maybe Krejic, Cunnigham at least puts in the effort, but the rest if them are awful.
Hell even Bratkowski has shown good moments........

is it too early to start questioning the coach? Are they tuning him out now? Or just not hungry enough. At some point if all the players are playing to their expectations, whose fault is that.

Why is the coach off limits....?

It's a combo of many things over the years.

1.) CJ has not ADAPTED his style and play to the talent the GM has put together and REFUSES to coach any way other than his way......

It's beating a dead horse but, Savard, Kessel, Seguin, Spooner, Koko, Pasternak, etc...... These players haven't and will not make it on a team that Clod coaches.

2.) The BAD TRADES that Chi pet has made are adding up and hurting us WAY more than anyone has thought......Seguin, Chris Versteeg, Brad Boyes, were traded away.....we also traded for Tomas Kaberla, giving up Joe Colborne and a pick.....

http://bleacherreport.com...eter-chiarelli-era-so-far

3.) DRAFTING......Hamill, Caron, Joe Colborne, to name a few........when we draft in the top 10 we are golden but other than Pasternak we haven't drafted well in the first rounds.

4.) OVERVALUING vets and mediocer players and HANDING OUT NTC like candy on Haloween.

I'm one of the most positive guys around, but something needs to change. When Cunningham is your 1st Line RW then there is an issue. I love the L3 with Loui, Yeti and Kelly, I like the L2 with Marchy-Bergy-Smith. L4 can eat my a$s with a spoon.

Lucic Krejci Pastrnak
Marchand Bergeron Eriksson
Smith Soderberg Griffith
Paille Kelly Cunningham

I'd like to see them give this lineup a shot. Definitely has offensive potential. Probably the most frustrating thing this season is that they haven't changed up the lines. They've kept them as close to the same as possible through all the injuries... Time to mix it up a bit
