I was actually an Isles fan from 1970-1982 while living in NJ. However my Dad hated to drive to Long Island so I rarely got to the games at the Nassau County Mausoleum. So in 1982 I jumped ship to the Devils. Kind of the anti-band wagon fan where I went from Cup champs to a doormat team for almost the next decade. But still root for the Isles today (just not against the Devils).

One thing I did know in 1970 as a 6 year old that has held true to this day......I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE THE RANGERS AND THEIR DYSFUNCTIONAL FRANCHISE!!!!
