I enjoyed reading this (the sentiment about missing hockey and the Rundblad quip, not the state of your team).

Hey, I appreciate it. (And the clarification too).

Beats me. Pretty sure he is not Gregory's brother.

That was your best article EVER! Any hockey article that includes The Smiths, Kid A, and a couple of R.E.M. albums has to be awesome.

I was 15 in 1983 and visited East Berlin that summer. I can tell you what Radio Free Europe was about.

May the Yotes lose every game in regulation from here out. I want to see McDavid in the Pacific, but not in Canada.

Thanks for the Kind words my good man. For the record, I do know a little about Radio Free Europe, but was mostly commenting about the general unintelligibility of Stipe's lyrics.

I am pumped that you share my great taste in tunes however.

Hey, just to be clear, I wasn't calling you out or making any criticism/accusations when I commented on the homogenous nature of the compiled artists yesterday. It is a great list and a very daunting task when you consider the scope of popular music in terms of both variety and time. Good for you for giving it a go and filling that painful gap in the season we call the all star break.

I'm going to go blow the dust off my copy of Murmur and give it a listen. I don't even know how many years it has been. I saw REM tour Monster many years ago but my interest in anything they released after that was luke warm at best.

And I was 100% certain you were going to make NMH's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea your #1 album.

I love Imitation of Life and E-Bow the Letter (the live version with Thom Yorke is particularly great).

Throwing Copper - Live?

Good to see the Yotes are sticking with the plan - be competitive, give the fans a bit of hope for a win & even get a point but throw OT or the shoot out.

Never get the 2 - never go full retard!

I know that, but it's important to acknowledge it. Happy to get your to pull out Murmur once again.

I am not aware of a live version of that song with Thom Yorke. That's cool; I'll seek it out. Thanks for the hot tip.

I love that album. I probably should have found a place for it. More of a massive oversight on my part, but what would I cut? I dunno.

I might even like On Avery Island better - definitely two of the all time best.
