If you don't think Mrazek has done anything to prove he belongs in the NHL then there are a crap load of goalies playing regularly in the NHL that don't belong either. He has had 2 bad games since Howard went down and the Wings have pretty much played like $hit defensively since even before Howard went down. Wings were getting away with it because they played a lot of sub par teams at home but now they will be playing a lot of good teams on the road. Howard is going to get lit up if they keep playing like they have been.

Mrazek got beat clean too many times tonight. There were some defensive lapses but he's gotta bail the D out sometimes - he's already shown that he can.

That said, all good goalies have bad games, and he's still a very young goalie learning the nhl so there will be ups and downs.

When I said Mrazek has had 2 bad games since being #1 I meant tonight being one of them for sure. He's bailed out the defense plenty of times during that winning streak.

If they don't start working harder and playing better defense, it won't matter who is net....whoever is in net is going to look like crap most of the time unless they have games where they are standing on their heads making saves.

I definitely can say after watching tonight I don't like XO with Smith. Q and DK looked good and the offense was floating around the perimeter all night. They looked too comfortable and didn't attack the Tampa defenseman enough. Hope they get their poop together or some sort of move is made.
