Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Day: Feb. 9 at Minnesota Wild, The Draft Lottery With their fathers in tow for a family road trip, the Vancouver Canucks will look to build off Saturday's win over the Pittsburgh Penguins when they take on the stingy Minnesota Wild on Monday at Xcel Energy Center.

Thanks Carol always good. Dubnik has been great. I said last season when Edmonton was destroying another good player in Devan that if he was given a shot anywhere but there he would excel. Excellent goalie. Big time steal for MInny.

I wonder how their current goalies would fare on different rosters

The odds need to be reduced to 1 in 14. Every team that misses the playoffs will be given one lottery ball..

I am offering up the McDavid pick in the fantasy pool. I paid Nino and Boone Jenner .

Surprised Clendenning is out. Is it injury or is it coaches decision? If it's CD then i have to question what WD sees. Clendenning moves the puck up better than any of our current D-men.

Mason getting his Knee scoped. Philly really needs to get a legit backup. Emery is barely ECHL caliber these days.

Fair enough but still. Important two points on the line and Weber and Stanton are in and Clendening out?

Kane talk on most teams has dropped off.

We are not giving up Bo or JV.

MCCann I don't want to do either but would consider it. If you are adding our first forget it.

That was a good article, id really like kane, but obviously Horvat and Virtanen untouchable, the only way id be happy with mcann going if it was mcann and higgins/hansen for kane and thats it, but it wouldnt be the case

As brutal as both of them are i prefure stanton over weber by lots, stanton has actually dropped the gloves to stand up for teamates, webers opposite

It sounds like Benning is trying to sell "win now" assets as their strategy. Makes me very relieved that Bob thinks that Horvat and Virtanen are out of the question

It honestly sounds like he is trying to pitch the typical trade suggestion we find here

YA I hear you it's just seems like an odd decision but agree that Stanton is a better option than Weber at this point. Stanton can/and has played tough but man he can be a defensive mess in our own zone. Guess maybe it don't matter a whole lot as hamhuis is getting bounced around in our D zone quite a bit right now too.

Last year he was really solid in his own end (apart from all the unlucky own goals). Possibly just a sophomore slump
