They are an inconsistent group, they are about due for a hot streak...they will challenge for that 9-10th place in the conference. Most of it is mental, too much talent not to turn this around.

They are capable of better than their recent record, but the players see the writing on the wall. Management is ready to blow this poopshow up, so why make an effort.

Overlooked that somehow, added to the poll

I wanted to vote but my opinion wasn't listed. I don't think this team is as bad their recent record shows. The leafs went from being one of the highest scoring team in the league to the lowest in over the course of a month and a half. Has to be do to the change of systems. No way every player on the team just forgets to score. Add the fact that goaltending has been considerable worse than normal. I do think that the core needs to be blown up because of complete lack of character and leadership and I think management realizes it. I believe they move all their ufas by trade deadline and move core pieces if they believe they can get fair value either now or in the summer. My biggest concern is thAt this team will start scoring again and win just enough games to finish out the season and hurt their draft position.

Can players be traded if they're on the IR? Lupul can take his glass carcass to a contender for a second round pick + an expiring contract to make cap room.

I hate the leafs but man how can they be so bad. Their roster isn't the best but she sure isn't as bad as they have been over the years.
