if Lemieux didn't want to sign here, he was a no brainer. the others i would have preffered to have been in there i don't think would have gotten it done. maybe gringo over armia.. i don't know, but most of the rest would not have been enough

89 said that we weren't overly high on Armia. TM did say that Winnipeg insisted on Lemieux.

I've only watch Armia play a couple of games, so don't know much, but I'm not really worried about him. Plus the Sabres can't deveolp a winger anyways. Now Lemieux is a different story, hope he doesn't come back to bite us in the ass.

In one of his pressers, GMTM said they were in discussions but hadn't come to an agreement yet. That could be a nice way of saying they "wouldn't" sign. Or it could be true that hey just hadn't yet.
