Wow you out did yourself here. Well done. - Cptmjl
Out garthed himself indeed. I'm sure Ottawa would love to trade their young goalie for a pending UFA. That makes sense since Anderson is only 50. |

I've been speculating as well that we might be able to pry Subban from Boston with Stewart and our second this year...likely the 31st pick, as they have their present and future goalie in Rask. |

Not saying it will happen but if he gave up our other 1st rounder in the deal they might do it.

Could it be Stewart and Gorges both heading to Boston?!?!
Personally, while I don't believe Gorges hurts the team in any significant way... I think he's clearly overpaid at $3.9 million per season. "Guts" guys typically don't make quite that much. Other than his leadership qualities, I don't see him having much impact on the ice in a positive manner. He and Myers certainly were nothing close to a shutdown pairing on the Sabres' blueline this season. I just wonder how Gionta would feel about them dealing his friend after he talked him into waiving his NTC and agreed to a deal to Buffalo?
End of the day, it's a business... if the Sabres can land Subban from Boston, I don't care if Gionta cries himself to sleep at night over it. That being said, even Bogosian could use a solid veteran to help take that leadership burden off his shoulders going forward. |

Ok bud first you say Stewart and a 2nd is enough for Subban and then you say the same thing for a much lesser goalie in Ortio. Seriously Garf study up on your prospects. |

You honestly think Gorges would waive his LNTC twice within a year? |
