Larsson is a prime example of what can happen when you give prospects a fair shot at proving themselves, not just regulating them to the 4th line with minimal minutes. Now if they would only let Grigorenko play 2C with decent wingers and a little more T.O.I. than two shifts, we might actually see this kid turn the corner or at least increase his value this office season. The nice goal he had last night should prove that there is something there with him. |

That town won a Calder Cup a few years ago (Tim Murray was the GM) and you'd be hard pressed to find a person there who realizes they actually have a team at all.
I've lived there. Morale plays a big factor. You never see that bright thing up in the sky, and it always rains.
But we will see how he does going forward. They make the playoffs they might have a Cam Ward type of run from him, Ottawa could be dangerous if they make it. But its hard to judge a goalie after 10 games.

Sharp is interesting but I'm not willing to pay very much at all for him since he's getting a bit older and will be past his prime once we contend. Same thing for Martin. 2 year deal at most for him. - SabresNHL
A 2 year deal would be ideal for Martin, but he is going to want 3, at least, I would think, and 3 would be my limit.
Green would be a big upgrade for the PP.
Sharp may not cost much, and if Chicago is asking for a lot, laugh as you hang up the phone. |

Sharp is on pace for a little over 40 pts, is a minus 12 on Chicago, rumors he's a locker room cancer, And is at the age where he is more susceptible to injuries. I would say last year was the last really good year of his career. He's on a downslide I wouldnt want him at all. - Fattony1187
IMO, he won't cost much at all as they would likely appreciate the cap help.
He's only the books for two more seasons, and the team needs a RW.
He would fit, and if he stinks, you can ship him off at the 2016-2017 trade deadline.
To me, it's a low risk, high reward type of deal. |

Bingo was really good a few years ago and I know they have had an up and down season but I'm not too sold on this kid after just a handful of games. The Sabres could look elsewhere in a trade for a young goalie. Heck, they might consider moving Lehner and Murray did draft him so ya never know.

I would agree that Reinhart is the untouchable.
It certainly appears that Murray has his sights set on O'Reilly. I don't think Hall is moved by the Oilers, they'll look at moving Yakupov first.
The thought of getting Green or Martin is great but it would take a lot of convincing to bring either one here. I would target Oduya or maybe Petry. Up front, assuming the Jets re-sign Frolik, I would go after Carl Soderberg. The Bruins won't be able to re-sign him and it would allow Reinhart to start the year in Rochester. - mhp
I doubt Edmonton trades either one. Their track record says they will keep both and just draft another high quality player with a top 5 pick.
You are probably right, but that convincing could begin with offering both very high dollar deals albeit with shorter term, say 3 year deals. They have $10M or so of cap space for next year, and that's just to hit the floor.
Nothing wrong with Oduya or Petry. I just think if you are going pay an FA, get a quality one, as Martin is underrated and Green would really help the PP.
If you bring Soderberg, it would also allow Girgensons to move to wing, which is something I would do and I believe it would be to his benefit long term. |

To my potential detriment, I believe in Neuvirth going forward and he is the one I would be looking at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for goaltending in the offseason. |
