I would actually like to know if Steve Kozari is the source of lots of complaints. That guy treats Anaheim like they're the Washington Generals.

I agree with you that embellishment to draw a call is wrong. On the other hand sometimes you can't blame a player for doing it especially in the last month or two of the regular season and in the playoffs when the refs don't want to call anything. This season is even worse and the numbers for PP attempts especially for certain teams show it not to mention scoring is way down. There won't even be a hundred point scorer and probably a struggle to even get a 90 point scorer. I'm not saying we have to have all high scoring games but when scoring chances are virtually non existent it makes for a boring game. When talented players are allowed to be mugged or interfered with constantly makes for a non watchable sport. The game the other day between the Pens and Sharks ended 2 -1 but it was a very exciting game with many scoring chances. It just seems to me the league is heading back to the clutch and grab era before they change the rules to open up the game.

i think antagonizing and insulting people is a great way to get them to come out and show their stuff.

I agree there are players who embellish and dive, yoiu can't blame them if they can get away with it and get their team on a PP.

What I can't understand is why these plays are not given a penalty. How often do you see a penalty handed out for diving? I have seen two penalty's given though, one guy gets diving and the other gets the infraction call. How dumb is that? If there is an infraction then he gets the penaty. It shouldn't matter if the opponent embellishes it or not.

I don't blame the players, I blame the officials for allowing it to happen because they don't give out the proper penalty. If diving penalty's were given out on each dive you would soon see it stopped.
