Well said T. Suter needs to be taken off the top line PP and I wouldn't be upset if he was removed from the PP altogether! He brings nothing offensively and teams can key on other players because of it... and as I alluded to in the last thread, it would go a long way towards lowering his TOI thus keeping him fresh for 3rd periods.
As far as Yeo's "guys". I agree, although for the most part I believe the old adage "dance with the girl who brung ya". I do believe it's time for Yeo to step up and simply just ice the best players currently on this roster.
Prosser played decent down the stretch before he was injured, but it was clear once he was out that even Leopold was a better option.
Prosser is a nice 5,6 depth guy, but he should not be in the starting line up come playoff time. Yeo needs to stop treating these guys like they're his buddies and do whats right for the team.
PP is astoundingly bad and the amazing thing is when he was in Pitt where he had the fortune of being apart of a cup win and from everything I've ever heard he was terrible as the Pens PP coach.
Either way, whomever he plugs into wherever tonight, this team needs to step up and bear down or this big come back season may turn into a punch line by the end of this week. |

hahahahaha yeo is forever indebted to dubnyk. Yeah idk, I thought it was funny when everyone on comment sections on nhl.com and other blogs were calling for yeo's head. natural reaction for fan bases during a rough patch but it is interesting watching from an outsider point of view. Being guilty of what I just said many times before, I couldn't help but think to myself "what the hell are they talking about? They've hit a rough patch and their goaltending isn't holding up. That happens throughout every nhl season." happy to see them turn it around though. The state of Minnesota holds a special place in my heart. My 4 sets of aunts and uncles, my grandparents, and my 16 cousins always visit a close family friend in the brainard lakes area every year, and it's my favorite place in the world

Love the write up! Never been a fan Prosser. He has to many defensive lapse and no offensive upside. Lower Suter's ice time on the PP. Last time I checked, his average ice time on the PP was leading the league or top 5 (same thing). Cooke is a shell of himself, never was excited about acquiring him (not because I hate him) because the physical side of his game is sporadic at best and I knew he would not chip in on the offensive. Coming from Pit to MN is going to diminish anybody's output of points.
I'm all for the Jets making the playoffs, good to have new blood in there. I been a B.Little fan since his days in Atlanta and always been a Wheeler fan but tonight GO WILD |

Plus the d-system actually started playing D and working as a unit. The offense has picked up and more players are starting to play like they should. We were never a bad team, just underperforming big time. I'm still waiting for Dallas and Colorado to pick it up...o wait |

I wouldn't call the Wild a team that is chasing a wild card spot. Is there really any doubt in any Wild fan's mind that the team is going to somehow miss the playoffs this year? |

Like Tony stated, and we all know...tonight is their biggest game of the season. Win and you're in, lose and who the eff knows what will happen.
Also, I agree with your take on Yeo and too many choices available to him. This guy is unwilling to change the PP for Christ's sake, how can we expect him to put the best 12 forwards on the ice each night??
Lastly, Koivu is more important to this team than I care to admit. Hopefully he can help push the boys over the hump and we'll be playoff bound before the night is over.
Otherwise, blow it up and fire Yeo |

We're on Platte & Sullivan lakes just west of Mille Lacs. It's a shame what's happened with ML fishing |

Farm Island is on the north, northwest edge of Mille Lacs right? We're straight West, maybe a little southwest |

No, we owe it to the Avs fans that have to sit at home and cry all April/May. Don't worry, your team will one day be respectable again kiddo. |
