3. The farm system is catching up, and players are indeed developing.
This is really an interesting one for me. Not too long ago it looked like Stu's picks were just dreadful, so they demote him. Now we are starting to see how guys can develop when the strategy has been changed. Guys like Lander, Pitlick, Marincin, Klefbom and others are finally coming around. Hopefully that trend continues.
How sad is it that Gagner lead the forwards in ARI in scoring this year? |

Was reading that Stauffer was really ripping Scrivens the last game. Is it possible we end up with two new goalies going into next year? |

Almost as sad as Arcobello being their top line center cafter the trade deadline |

I'd grab a goalie but not over pay for them. Resign Bachman and use Scrivens in a backup role. If Scrivens struggles send him down to the ECHL and bring up Bachman.

I'm not really a hater, but I guess what really makes it bad is 41 points is all it took.
Actually he only needed 37 to beat Doan. |

Yup one of the last games I watched for Arizona had the following top line
Reider=Arco=Doan
Like WTF?
We traded reider for a 6ft coke machine on skates that sucks at fighting, cant skate and should just become a rig pig. |

I don't see Bachman coming back. Heard something that he wants to be out East. Add that with him losing his job to Brossoit and i think he looks elsewhere.
I don't know who they'll really target at this point to be honest. The really need a vet that has shown the ability to stay calm in a poop situation. I'm no fan of Cam Ward, but he'd be someone I'd try acquire. Could be a way to dump Nikitin as well as I don't see many lining up for Ward's salary. |

What do you oiler fans think of Craig Anderson or Robin Lehner? I think Anderson would finally give you guys some stability while Lehner would be a bit more of a gamble. I'm wondering what a decent trade around him would like and what we could get in return. |

Reider really didn't do much yet to be honest. Plus we were kinda stuck with Reider going back into the draft. |

He's from Colorado and now has ties to Oklahoma so maybe he just wants to go south. Brossoit has played in 50 games this year (.918 sv %) so I doubt he wants to be a backup next year |

I kinda thought Bachman would be a guy to go to Europe for a couple years if anything, but now I don't know that Europe is an option for North American players. |

Yak led the Oilers in shots this season, just edging out Nuge. Imagine what his shot totals would have looked like with a completely Eakinsless season. |

playing with a centre not named Arcobello or Draisaitl was huge too. roy is no stellar vet, but he had a big effect on Yak. |
