I'll be extremely surprised if we don't have a couple fresh picks by draft time!!

Thanks Carol.

Yeah, I wonder a bit about Conacher.
Sounds like it was strictly an AHL type of move when he was acquired. Not sure if he can get back to the NHL but I remember when he was acquired by Ottawa in the Ben Bishop trade, he had a good year with the Lightning and put up good numbers as a rookie.

Nice to see Utica doing so well.

Good on Grenier! I'm not holding onto any false hope for this team going into next season. I still stand by my "smoke and mirrors" theory. That said I'm looking forward to seeing any deserving young player crack the lineup, that's how I plan to get my hockey fix next season with this team. No expectations other than that. However I do expect to see results over the next few years. Over to you Mr. Benning.

Can't help you here...we have no 3rd rounder this but 4 next year minus one we have to give to the PENS. Second rounder out of the question unless...

Don't know how many times I found myself looking for Horvat or Kenins on the ice this past season. And Clandening too, to a certain extent after he was acquired.

Rooting for the youngsters, apathy towards most of the core.

A couple of picks higher than a 3rd would be a big win.

Vrbata would net a 2nd for sure.
- VanHockeyGuy

He would net a first in between 20-30 for sure, or possible 2 2nds one in low 30's and one in 40's

Canucks retroactively select, in the 11th round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft, from CSKA Moscow, 19-year old Vladimir Konstantinov

We demand a re-play of the 1994 Stanley cup finals!!

I have some expectations of entertainment and, via the kool-aid, trying to make the playoffs, but holding onto the silver lining of if they miss the playoffs then we have a chance at some good draft picks.

As long as we still have those draft picks.

Yeah, you are right, these aren't really huge expectations. Just entertain me with a good effort on the ice. Don't like the idea of tanking. Unless the on ice product in entertaining.

I agree, and would be fine with either option. So why not do it? He has one season left, won't be resigned. It's just where & when. We won't let him walk for nothing, nor should Matthias.

Pretty slow around here. Any predictions for the game 7's going on this weekend.

I'm thinking Stamkos leads the Lightning over King Henrik tonight and win 4-2.

And Kesler get's to go back to the Cup final, and the Ducks beat Chicago 2-0.

That was probably my favourite part of last season was the entertainment factor. They might lose a bunch but if they made big comebacks and produced many chances like they did quite a bit this past season, I won't miss out watching many games.

I am hoping for Tampa. I am fine with whoever wins it.

I don't wish success on Kesler though, but hey, whatever. The Canucks aren't there so, no strong feelings.

I'd like Garrison to win a cup. I can't cheer for the Rags. I'm a fan of Stamkos and some of the young guys on that team as well. Hedman is good.
