how dare any clown expect him to put up 50 points in the NHL

no chance this coach opens it up any more then Nolan did and beside this new coach couldn't generate points from crosby and malkin

Sure, kudos to him. It's also pretty dumb if he isn't going to consider making this team better because the players available aren't under 24 years old.

I get the logic, I really do. But there are many ways to improve your team, if he truly is a good GM, I doubt he's narrowing the field on how to make us better

If the idea this year is to take the veterans they already have in Moulson, Gionta, and Gorges, while the rest of the team is full of prospects or young players, isn't that would you would prefer over fast tracking the improvement path?

I am sure Murray would take somebody like Sharp on the cheap, but I highly doubt he will overpay for someone like Sharp. He has shown he will overpay for a young player like Kane, so that is always possible.

I would be happy if they gave Grigorenko a full season shot as a top 9 winger, like RW on the 2nd or 3rd line.

If he produces well, it's a bonus. If he does not, there is literally nothing lost with the idea.

This, completely. Lets keep the D intact and wait for the young wingers to develop. I think TM's strategy of not acquiring anyone older than mid-20's is a good one.
