As honest as Benning comes across, the interview sounded very much like a PR piece.

Of course he is going to say that there is a demand for both of his young goalies and that he expects to get back a high pick... whether that remains to be true, we will see.

Before waivers started. Couldn't have 3 goalies up.

He actuall y had to clear waivers, which is why the Canucks chose to play him in the only non-televised game in the pres-season in some unknown town in northern California.

Rick Nash is a tool. That cap hit is ridiculous and his agent stated that Nash has no desire to play for ANY CDN franchises...so f**k him.

He had a good regular season and a terrible playoffs. We have enough of those. Outside of the Sedins, who I thought were great, and Horvat, who might have been our best player, the rest of our team was mediocre to painful to watch against Calgary.

Phaneuf over rated? Over paid, for sure, but even his own fan base think he's sh!t, except when discussing possible returns. He gets talked about too much, he's not a number 1 D and he certainly shouldn't have the C, but I don't think he's that bad. (Yes Nucker, I said number 1 D).
