Just want Benning to add some picks and fill up the prospect pool.

I like the idea he has 5 untouchables, he must be happy with some of the picks and potential. Make some room, give these guys some spots to play for.

Like the idea that Benning has said, if a prospect earns a spot out of training camp, he will make room for them, but then think that limits the moves because it would limit the ability to move ntc's then- Higgins and Hansen.

I like the idea of Higgins as a 3rd liner, but want the option of him on the 2nd unit pp or top 6 removed. I'd like to see him go, wouldn't mind if Hansen was traded for 2nd rounder. I just want to see some new blood in the lineup.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hansen and Higgins were still here next October. Higgins is played a ton, WD trusts him and Hansen brings speed. Still like to see one gone for the sake of change.

On defense, just moving Bieksa changes the look of the 2nd and 3rd pairings. Do you think he will be moved?

Still need more grit on d, even if Bieksa stays. Is Weber more likely going to be guaranteed a spot with his pp points at the end of the season? Do they play Sbisa like a 6/7 defencemen with that contract? Or will Clandenning/Corrado rotate through 6/7 spot?

Maybe Reimer, just to have a backup, and eat 700k (or diff between his and Lacks cap hits).

No idea what prospects you would have, Canucks wouldn't want to be taking back any salary- they'd want picks and or prospects coming back or they would have to dump salary somewhere else to make room.

trolling? i literally just stated exactly what happens. they lost (which wasnt a surprise) and they couldnt get it done when it counts (playoff finals).

yes, because that would literally be the truth? the leafs are going to be garbage the next few years, you dont need to be an expert to know they will be a lottery team for the next while.

if the nucks were smart they'd do the same but they tried to extend their window by signing miller when clearly their team needs to rebuild. now they are going to trade lack when they would have been better off with him and markstrom + the extra cap space. hopefully they will do something right and move bieksa/hamhuis for picks/prospects.

i wonder how many people will call me a troll for saying the nucks need to rebuild.
