Bettman will give his speech and then turn it over to Edmonton.... Usually about 10-15 minutes after the hour.

Before the draft officially opens and Bettman comes out, they do microphone checks and inform teams that personnel need to be at their designated areas.

Interesting to see that a devils fan thinks he knows what hextall is going to do. Considering hextall eliminated coaching candidates for speaking to the media in any capacity about the flyers interest. I don't think hextall moves up he might not even desire a defenseman. Smoke and mirrors.

A lot may depend on how much D than can trade away In the next few days to free up some cap room. You have to believe Schenn and Grossman are gone... So that is about 6.5 M in savings

Agreed, the Provolov stuff could be to tempt others to trade for 7 to move down or to try to cover there true love for a forward or a double blind and they actually do like Provy for all we know
