It would be nice to get more Americans coverage in general. Although you've been doing a great job mixing it in from time to time.

Those clowns (sorry homie) at WGR never seem to realize the Amerks exist. It always surprised me that they don't put more articles about them on their website. I haven't listened to the station since moving to VA but I doubt they discuss them much on the air either.

murph works for me, but van always had that heightened sense of drama when he called the game and had a voice reminiscent of by-gone, radio-era

This is how I feel about RJ too. The new generation of broadcasters don't seem to be able to do that.

How many radio markets discuss their farm team in that much depth unless they are in the same city and own the broadcast rights? Answer: next to zero. WGR is actually way ahead of the curve compared to other markets.

Holtby. He's reportedly asking for $8 mil a year. Washington's offered just over $5 mil. He has an arbitration hearing in a few days. Link up a bit is a story about it.

Brad May is Bad May. His brain vapor locks while his mouth is trying to speak. Almost needs a smack in the back of his head to get the words out.

the "new generation" is blasé...most coming out of Syracuse, all with the same schtick...totally unimpressive, imo
