Paul Stewart: Help Support Hockey in Harlem

Hi Paul, I have been meaning to ask this question (but fear that I would be suspended for the topic). The NHL has done a great job in bringing the game to minority kids. I often wonder why we have not seen in increase in minority referees? With the cost of the game so high, it would seem like refereeing would be a natural avenue for younger kids to get into (just need a pair of skates and some ice time, not have to buy all the other equipment). Paul,will we see an increase in minority officials in all levels of hockey?
