It will be interesting to see how the coaches challenge on goalie interference plays out. There has been so much inconsistency in that area it would be nice to see that get tightened up a little bit.

Absolutely. I expect one standard of play to be called in the regular season and then I expect the NHL to throw it out once the playoffs arrive.

Feast or famine..once they get the cycle going it's going to be funny to watch. But once McDavid/Hall, Seguin/Benn, Duchene/Mackinnon, Gaudreau/Monahan, etc get the puck then it's off on a 2-on-1 or 2 man breakaway going back on American hero Ryan Miller.

Who has been banned? That is incredibly unfair as the trolls have really got away with it in here lately. I try not to respond to them but lately its been awful.

I would put my name in, but I've been banned once and I think the people who get picked for mods are ones who have perfect records.

I'd like to think the mods would take a step back and be objective, who is stirring stuff up, what is their purpose for being here? But it sounds like they are enabling the troll fest.


We are going to see more and more of it with those guys still not being competitive for the next few seasons. Sour grapes and little victories. They are not going to be relevant in the standins, may as well get the action in the threads.

There may be nothing to do in edmonton but sit behind a screen and keyboard for entertainment?

I say we keep PM'ing Capt EO with candidates for our own Mod. He seems open to the idea. I'll copy & paste his perameters for a Mod so everyone who is interested can see what the powers that be are looking for.

It is surprising that we often don't need mods because we keep it pretty civil between ourselves. It is disappointing, we don't have our own mods and have trolls coming into Canuck threads to stir it up, ruining good discussion and it kills the thread as everyone leaves in disappointment with the behaviour.

These trolls come here and try to insult and talk about our perceived failure, but it is just a distraction from their own. They may get a ban, but they return to troll when the ban is done. lice.

Don't understand where they draw the line. Almost like officiating in the NHL. Player is as cheap and dirty as they come, refs ignore, that is just the game of the poophead, someone reacts or retaliates and they get 5 and a game.
