Seriously though the edmonton website better be able to handle the traffic tonight!

Should be a good one tonight. I have heard that Oilers are shutting McDavid down for the tournament after tonight, and will be limiting his Ice time depending on the tempo of the game. Probably not a bad move as he will be a lock to make the team and often opposing players are trying to get recognized by throwing big hits/fights/etc. Either way, should be a fun one tonight.

I'm not sure if there will be geo restrictions but it's streamed form their site and they will have a youtube feed I'm pretty sure.

It only makes sense to shut him down though. I understand Scalpers will be pissed but why subject him to being run by kids trying to make a name for themselves.. He is going to play in the show this year, I would understand the Oilers decision to sit him after tonight.

Calgary and Winnipeg probably think differently

There wasn't any geo restrictions last year. I was able to watch a couple of games and I live outside of Atlanta.

I highly doubt it. I've tried to watch this tournament online the past couple years and it's been pretty rough... this year will be much worse

Looking forward to David vs Goliath round 2 (starring Cassels as David & McDavid as Goliath)

First round (OHL finals) went to Cassels
2nd round happens tonight - will Goliath be able to recover?

Come on... McDavid is the real deal, but he isn't a god. Mcdavid is truly in a league of his own, but hitting is a part of the game. These kids are fast and if McDavid was un-hit/catchable then you might as well start the parade, which it already seems like you have started....
