Paul Stewart: Three-on-Three OT Could Have Unintended Consequences

The point structure needs to be changed. 3 points for a win in regulation or OT. 2 points for a shootout win. 1 point for a shootout loss.

That being said, I've never had a problem with a regular season game ending in a tie.

Bring back the tie, it was a much better format than anything that has been attempted since its removal.

Hockey purists didn't mind the tie...

It really is sad that the league has to change it's rules/format/history to fit non-Hockey markets that offer absolutely nothing to the game....

I disagree....not so much when watching the game, but when at the game it just always felt like a waste after a tie....just an eh feeling that nothing was accomplished....a winner is needed
