I stopped watching after halftime. What an ugly game.

This is going to be a hard game. Dallas is a good team this year (last year they just had too many injuries and things didn't click) and coming off a layover could be tricky for our boys.

Dallas had some injuries last year, but the big problem was leaky team defense and inconsistent goaltending. Those issues were somewhat addressed in the off season but this is still a team that needs to win a lot of 4-3 or 6-4 games to have a playoff-qualifying record. The team is trending the right way but cannot afford to revert to playing as loose as they did last year.

he is brutal and smiles all the time

Interesting that the 1st PP unit has struggled since they moved B Schenn to the 2nd unit.

They have the firepower to score 4 quite often, though. If Lehtonen can play well, they can be scary.

Went back to Dallas, was re-examined yesterday, I believe. Ruff said he wasnt doing great but had no medical update yet.

They didn't look that good in the last couple of preseason games either. I was just making an observation.
