But yeah and this is with 4 of our six "star" players out of the lineup. It's impressive.

as well as his wingers have played on that line, i'm not sure they're the answer...they need to find open ice so that he can distribute...it will help open up the ice for him a bit more as well

I think the missing players, brutal bad luck in getting pucks over the goal line and bad goaltending on the back end has created his heightened sense of urgency.

i'm with ya, guy...but...

as well as his wingers have played on that line, i'm not sure they're the answer...they need to find open ice so that he can distribute...it will help open up the ice for him a bit more as well

Larsson has no business playing on that line right now...

Does he have the potential to be a capable linemate for Reinhart and Eichel...yes...but he's not living up to it presently

yup, I agree...he's a top-nine player playing above his talent level and experience, like you said, right now...still like his game a lot and I think in a few years time he'll be able to hang with star players at least on a fill-in basis

Put him out there with Girgs for a game. The last 2 games Girgs has been all over the place and he has the skating ability to keep up with Eichel.

Sure that hurts, but that spin o rama and terrible shot was a play that should have never happened. Dont try to do it yourself, your teammates are fully capable of handling a pass, and you'll probably get the puck back.

Granted if Johnson holds the rebound that goal never happens either.....

Exciting game last night. At least this team is fun to watch and the effort is there, really wish that puck would of trickled across the line, cannot believe it didnt go in. The pressure in the final 2 mins was amazing. It's like nothing the sabres have done in a long time. Hopefully tonight we can get a few more bounces our way and WIN!

Jamie McGinn is no slouch. A few silly plays on his part this season, but he's been ayight. I think with the injuries, you put Eichel with ROR like last night and let these dudes give it a shot, Bylsma tried every other combo imaginable - keep Delauriers up there keep the peace, and the Ennis - Larsson - Mouson on the 2nd line. Or Foligno-Ennis at C-Moulson.

And put Eichel on PP1 already. What's there to lose?
