We've got to keep in mind that this is a team with quite a few new parts. I feel like they have done pretty well. Really impressed and surprised with Burrows and Sutter, they have been leading the team IMO.

Although I'm not really ragging on WD like some, I think he has to realize leaning on the vets in the third is counter productive, both short- and long-term. If he was doing it and they were winning these third period led games, I could understand. But they aren't. They are starting to sit back, tire, and try to protect the lead. Have to keep the lines rolling and win the period too.

The 3rd period is always where the game gets managed more he's learning. If we were dealing with a veteran coach I would be all over him but we are not he is learning and so are the people under him. I don't think Green is the answer.

I like WD, and definitely think he has a learning curve he's on... but learning implies doing new when things aren't working, not trying and failing with the same old

But it's tough for him, whilst he's learning the people he's leaning on (and in this case not leaning on) are learning too. We're 10 games in, it'll be more fair to judge what's happening much further into the season.

I expected hiccups this year with a young roster, so I am not going to complain. I don't think they will make the same mistakes all the time.
I think this is a better team this year

Agreed. Burr was flying and vrbata had a good game.
Gaunce was ok, but will be replaced by Higgins.

Anyone got a lineup for tonight?
Cracknell for mccan?
Biega for Webber?

Freidman suggested Canucks are trying to move him but no takers. He should be sent down and let the cheaper Biega should stay
